PERFORMATIV PARACHUTE PROJECT:

I have to inform you, that the performativ parachute project inspired by Jean Tinguely’s leaflet drop with bureaucratically drifting flying objects above Düsseldorf is cancelled.

ARTIST-TALK:

The ZERO foundation hosts a talk on the “Tinguely Ship”. The Düsseldorf-based artist Tomas Kleiner, inspired by Tinguely’s legendary leaflet dropping of his manifesto “For Statics”, developed his project “ABSPRUNG” in connection to the Düsseldorf Rhine Tower. The curator of the ZERO foundation, Romina Dümler, discusses what separates and what is shared in their artistic practice. In memory of Tinguely’s legendary and myth-enshrouded action, the conversation will span the arc of conditions and starting points of utopian art from then to now.
